ROYL Inspiration

"But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding." Job 32:8

The Spirit of Inspiration: Wisdom is the gift of God, all true wisdom is from above; and where the inspiration of the Almighty is, there is understanding.

Let HIS SPIRIT Guide You!

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Romans 8:11

The HOLY SPIRIT, The Earnest!

We are sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT after receiving JESUS CHRIST (YESHUA MESSIAH), as our LORD and SAVIOR.

GOD sealed us; imprinted his image on our hearts and sealed us as his own property, by giving us the earnest of The HOLY SPIRIT. This was not a "pledge", which is to be restored when the debt is paid. It is an "earnest" which is not taken away, but will be completed, as we wait for the fulness (Romans 8:23).

"Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." 2Corinthians 1:22

"Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit." 2Corinthians 5:5

"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," "Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." Ephesians 1:13-14

αρραβων arrhabon ar-hrab-ohn'
of Hebrew origin (6162); … part of the purchase-money or property given in advance as security for the rest:—earnest.

The word earnest "means, a pledge given to ratify a contract; a part of the price, or purchase-money; a first payment; that which confirms the bargain, and which is regarded as a pledge that all the price [has been] paid. The word occurs in Genesis 38:17-18,20. In the New Testament it occurs [in the above verses] in the same connexion as applied to the Holy Spirit, and his influences on the heart...In regard to the "earnest," or the part of a price which was paid in a contract…" – Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible
